Key Responsibilities:

  • Auditing, assessing or evaluation related to privacy and data protection on technical aspects of a target of evaluation;
  • Testing and rating of data protection relevant criteria;
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation and trainings with experts.

 

Requirements / Your Profile: 

  • Successful graduation at an EU or state-recognized university, which is led by subjects such as computer science, technics, mathematics or involves an appropriate IT-auditing or obtainment of a recognized protected title (e.g., Dipl. Ing.);
  • Experience in program management, consulting, or similar;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the field of technical organizational data protection (e.g. applied cryptography, authorization concepts, logging, pseudonymization/anonymization) as well as the execution of data protection impact assessments and auditing;
  • Genuine curiosity and interest in achieving a deep level of expertise in data protection;
  • Interest in state of the art information technology and its technical and legal challenges;
  • Comfort in technical project environments - especially regarding privacy by design and by default - and ability to up-level to a business leadership audience;
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English (including specialist terms);
  • Travel requirement up to 25%.

 

Desirable:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of privacy or data protection;
  • Good knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, GDPR, and the field of ePrivacy;
  • Experience in the field of examination, auditing and certification (ISO 270xx standards, German BSI IT-Grundschutz, Common Criteria);
  • Full professional or native written and spoken proficiency in German (including relevant specialist terms);
  • Professional working proficiency in any additional language.

The formal procedure aimed at getting the approval for the EuroPriSe certification criteria and at being accredited as a certification body pursuant to Art. 42 f. GDPR is currently running.
