Fraud prevention tool VALid-ZLC and self-certification solution VALid-4F successfully pass recertification according to EuroPriSe.
London based ValidSoft UK Ltd is awarded with the European Privacy Seal for its IT product VALid-4F standard edition v1.0 and for its IT-based service VALid-ZLC v2 (function as provided in October 2017) once again.
VALid-4F is a tool that enables individuals to quickly and simply prove over a mobile phone, to either private- or public sector entities, that they are who they claim to be, and that they are fulfilling certain conditions relating to their rough whereabouts. This is referred to as “self-certification”. The tool was awarded the EuroPriSe seal for the first time back in 2011 and passed its initial recertification successfully in 2014.
VALid-ZLC is a fraud prevention solution assisting banks and payment processors in identifying suspicious credit- and debit card “card-present” transactions. ZLC verifies, with the help of a mobile phone application, whether the card that is being presented at an ATM or POS-terminal is, or is not, in the same country as the mobile phone that the card owner has registered with the bank. It was initially awarded the EuroPriSe seal in 2014 and has now run through its first recertification successfully.
The re-evaluations have been performed by EuroPriSe Legal Expert Prof. Douwe Korff and EuroPriSe Technical Expert Javier Garcia-Romanillos Henriquez de Luna. The results demonstrated that both VALid-4F and VALid-ZLC have not changed since the previous (re)certification and continue to meet all applicable EuroPriSe requirements.
